Ductile Iron Pipe
Nodular cast iron pipe refers to the pipe made by high-speed centrifugal casting with centrifugal nodular cast iron machine after using cast iron above No. 18 and adding spheroidizing agent. It is referred to as nodular pipe, nodular iron pipe and nodular cast pipe for short. It is mainly used for the transportation of tap water and is an ideal material for tap water pipeline.

Features:

it has the essence of iron, steel performance, excellent anti-corrosion performance, good ductility and easy installation. It is mainly used for water supply and gas transmission in Municipal Industrial and mining enterprises.

Appication

Ductile iron pipes are generally large in diameter, thick in wall, brittle in texture, low in strength and cheap in price. They are economical water supply pipes with a normal service life of 20 ~ 25 years. Ductile iron pipe is a kind of cast iron pipe,which has the essence of iron and the properties of steel. The metallographic structure of annealed ductile iron pipe is ferrite plus a small amount of pearlite. It has good mechanical properties, excellent corrosion resistance, good ductility, good sealing effect and simple installation. It is mainly used for water supply, gas transmission and oil transportation in municipal and industrial and mining enterprises.
